Rio Ferdinand has urged Erik ten Hag to go all out in a bid to bring Harry Kane to Manchester United as the Dutchman intensifies his efforts to sign a new No.9.

United are working with a limited transfer budget amid the ongoing takeover uncertainty but have already splashed the cash on deals for Mason Mount and Andre Onana, who is set to undergo a medical on Wednesday ahead of his proposed £47million switch from Inter Milan.
