TOTTENHAM KEY STAR HAS BEEN SIGN WITH £98 MILLION

DANIEL FARKE WOULD LOVE £49,000-A-WEEK TOTTENHAM PLAYER AT LEEDS

Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke would reportedly love to  sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp.

The Athletic journalist Phil Hay has said on The Square Ball Podcast that Daniel Farke would love to have Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp in his team at Leeds United.

Farke was appointed the new Leeds head coach earlier this summer.

The German manager worked with the £49,000-a-week (SalarySport) midfielder at Norwich City.

Skipp was on loan at Norwich from Tottenham during the 2020-21 season.

The 22-year-old midfielder helped the Canaries to promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.

The English youngster made 44 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Norwich that season.

Skipp scored one goal and gave one assist in those games.

Hay said, as transcribed by TBR: “There is the basis of a strong team there, but what I would question is if there’s enough of a squad.

“If you look back at Farke’s teams at Norwich, the players he leaned on were so good, Pukki, Buendia and Oliver Skipp who is back at Spurs, he’s someone who Farke would love if he could get him, but he seems to be heavily involved and he would cost a lot of money as well.”

Oliver Skipp unlikely to leave Leeds United for Tottenham Hotspur

In our opinion, Oliver Skipp would not leave Leeds United for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

No way.

Skipp played well for Spurs last season and is likely to kick on now.

The 22-year-old midfielder made 18 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham last season.

Skipp scored one goal in those games.

Tottenham are unlikely to let such a good and talented young player leave this summer, even on loan.

And Skipp himself is unlikely to be willing to move to Leeds.

After all, the West Yorkshire club will play in the Championship next season, while Tottenham will be looking to finish in the top four of the Premier League table.
