we are ‘unstoppable’:as West Ham have fanally meet their target

Opinion: Door still wide open for West Ham to sign ‘unstoppable’ £32m powerhouse Ibrahim Sangare

The door is still wide open for West Ham United to sign ‘unstoppable’ £32m powerhouse Ibrahim Sangare this summer.

West Ham boss David Moyes has already brought Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.

Door wide open for West Ham to sign stunning 21-year-old midfielder after transfer collapse

However, the Hammers have so much more work to do, if we are to enjoy success on all fronts this season

Moyes needs to sign a striker, a winger, a left-back and a centre-back before deadline day. However, it could be argued that we need another top-class midfielder as well, especially if Flynn Downes and/or Lucas Paqueta leave.

And I believe that the perfect option is literally sitting out there waiting for West Ham…

Opinion: Door still wide open for West Ham to sign Ibrahim Sangare

The 25-year-old PSV Eindhoven midfielder has a €37 million (£32 million) release clause inserted into his current contract with the Eredivisie club according to ESPN in Holland.

And for that kind of money, there is not a better option out there for the Hammers in my opinion.

Sangare is an absolute powerhouse of a central midfielder and he has energy, stamina, athleticism and dynamism in abundance.

Current Benfica manager Roger Schmidt described Sangare as ‘unstoppable’ in 2021 (Dutch media outlet ED), and he’s not wrong. When the Ivory Coast international is on top form there is no stopping him.

He can play as a defensive midfielder, an orthodox central midfielder or even in more of an attacking role. The PSV ace is perfectly suited to playing as a box-to-box midfielder, and he bagged eight goals and three assists for the Dutch side last season (Transfermarkt).

Ibrahim Sangare possesses the kind of pace, power and mobility in central midfield that West Ham have lost since Declan Rice’s exit.

Signing him this summer really should be the easiest and most straightforward transfer that the Hammers will ever do.

Whether David Moyes agrees that signing him is a no-brainer remains to be seen though.
