incredible letter to boss: as a super star was denied the opportunity to say

Harry Kane was denied the opportunity to say farewell to friends and teammates during his final hours with Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

In the last hours before Harry Kane’s transfer to Bayern Munich was finalised, Tottenham Hotspur reportedly did everything for him (as reported by Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph and photographed by @iMiaSanMia), except give him a cardboard box for his stuff.

Kane, a Tottenham club legend, was instructed not to go to the practise pitch to say goodbye to his colleagues and other members of the team:

In the final hours before completing his transfer to Bayern, Harry Kane was prohibited from using Tottenham’s practise facility. Prior to completing his transfer, the club formally informed Kane through email that he should not return to their training facility.

Without the opportunity to say farewell in person, Kane did not take any of his personal belongings with him. He was forced to wait until they were delivered to him and his family, who were also unable to enter their suite at the stadium.

It’s understandable that leaving a club might be awkward, but preventing Kane from saying goodbye is a…tough look. Hopefully, his cordial reception in Bavaria lessened the blow.
