SPORT ISSUES : The 20-year-old Tottenham player is worth more than £100m now that a club wants

Reporter suggests the 20-year-old Tottenham player will one day be worth £100m

Journalist James Maw has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie will one day be worth £100m.

Maw is speaking on the View From The Lane podcast and discusses Tottenham’s fortunes ahead of the first international break of the season.

Few Spurs fans would have expected the season to get off to such a positive start after a tumultuous summer.

Ange Postecoglou had to take a completely different approach, recruiting rookies and moving some pillars into the team.

However, three wins and one draw mean Tottenham fans can start dreaming of battling for the top spot once again.

Things have not been positive, with the loss of Harry Kane a heavy blow and a number of players still signed up not part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans.

However, Destiny Udogie is a player who has performed extremely well under Postecoglou.

The 20-year-old full-back hails from Udinese and seems to have become a solid player in the Premier League.

It is now suggested that Udogie could one day be worth £100m to Tottenham.

Considering the way he is playing at the moment, the club will not be in a hurry to sell him anytime soon.

Tottenham star Udogie will be worth £100m
Speaking of Tottenham defenders, Maw said:
“It looks like [Pedro] Porro and [Destiny] Udogie have a good partnership.

“Udogie, I’m really amazed at his progress. And to me that sounds crazy after four games, but he already looks like one of the best players in the Premier League.

“For a player in that position, we’ve seen Gareth Bale and it’s a bit of a lazy comparison because it’s all position-based, but we’ve seen a left-back become one of the best. The best player in football. years over a period of five or six years.

“He would be a £100m player like that. Udogie, super good, it will get even better.

Udogie has impressed teammates and professionals in his short time with Spurs.

Tottenham signed Udogie for an initial fee of £15m last summer, but with the transfer fee situation now on the rise, it is unbelievable he could be worth £100m a day.

The Italy Under-21 international is an outstanding young player and has enjoyed a successful partnership with new signing Micky Van de Ven.

The pair excite Tottenham fans and it’s no surprise why.
