SAD NEWS: The 22-year-old Tottenham key player want to leave tonight for

The Netherlands team led by Ronald Koeman has left out Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven for tonight’s match against Greece.

Koeman’s initial 25-man roster, which had to be reduced to 23 men for game day, included Van de Ven.

Ian Maatsen of Chelsea joined Van de Ven as the unfortunate pair who won’t appear tonight.

Of course, Micky van de Ven of Tottenham has yet to play for the Netherlands.

And he faces tough competition in order to accomplish so.

Daley Blind, Stefan de Vrij, Virgil van Dijk, Nathan Ake, and Matthijs de Ligt are additional centre backs in Koeman’s lineup.

A formidable group of competitors awaited 22-year-old van de Ven.

The Spurs player might yet have some hope of making the team that will face the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.

At Tottenham, Van de Ven and Cristian Romero have already forged an amazing alliance.

And everyone associated with Spurs will undoubtedly be pleased that it has already led to a call from the Netherlands.

Van de Ven’s international debut must also not be far off, even if it doesn’t happen during this international break.

Van de Ven, a Tottenham player, has been cut from the Netherlands team for tonight.
While there are plenty of centre backs in the Netherlands, Spurs currently do not have that luxury.

There are currently only four senior options for the team because Davinson Sanchez has left the team for Galatasaray.

Eric Dier and Ashley Phillips are the sole reserves that join Romero and van de Ven.

Ange Postecoglou is reportedly very impressed with 18-year-old Phillips and believes that he is prepared to play.

Eric Dier doesn’t appear to be as supportive, though.

Dier was determined to stay despite the club making it clear that he may go this summer.

Dier chose to fight for his job with one year left on his contract rather than consider his options right away.
