Message from the Club: Jonson Clarke-Harris
An EFL spokesman confirmed this morning that Jonson Clarke-Harris’s contract request was denied.
The club had been working all day to reach an agreement with Peterborough, the player, and his agents, but last-minute alterations to the arrangement stopped it from being finalised.
Although the conclusion is sad for everyone involved, every effort was made to complete the agreement and submit the necessary paperwork to the EFL before the deadline.
With the team that we have assembled over the course of this window, we now look forward to today’s game and the upcoming season.
