What a bad day for leeds unted : the most talented player now late and gone

A disappointing evening as £20m Late on Sunday, a Tottenham player and Stefan Jovetic scored.

Even though Glen Kamara and Ilia Gruev of Leeds will shudder on Monday morning at the mere mention of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Stefan Jovetic, two well-known names in the Premier League.

Kamara and Gruev joined Leeds after the summer transfer window had already closed because Daniel Farke had already strengthened the centre of the park. When Kamara last played for Leeds, it was as a late substitute against Sheffield Wednesday.

Gruev was prohibited from doing so since he was still awaiting particular paperwork and international approval. However, both athletes promptly took off to play twice each for Finland and Bulgaria in order to represent their nations.

Kamara started against Denmark at home but was merely a substitute in last week’s 1-0 victory over Kazakhstan. Finland appeared to have a chance to steal a good victory against a quality side by playing the full 90 minutes.

However, it cost £20 million. Hojbjerg, a midfielder for Tottenham, scored the game-winning goal from about 25 yards out for Tottenham, breaking hearts in Finland. There are only four seconds left on the clock. 1-0.

Leeds pair Gruev and Kamara experience heartbreak abroad in the late stages.
That was horrible, but Gruev and Bulgaria were worse. Following his failure to adequately secure a header to his custodian in Thursday’s 1-0 loss to Iran, Gruev was at fault for that defeat.

Bulgaria came close to earning a valuable away point against Montenegro after starting back in his more natural position of central midfield. But Jovetic, a former member of Manchester City, scored, sending a header into the far post.

Sadness for Gruev. He had a miserable international break; the only plus was that he now has ten caps for his nation after winning his tenth on Sunday. They’ll both be returning to Yorkshire.
