Although Dimi Giannoulis has occasionally caused discord among Norwich City fans, he has had a strong start to the season, keeping his place as David Wagner’s main left-back.

If Giannoulis isn’t locked into a new contract, a door might open for him, but Norwich should aim to keep him around while there are still some doubts about Sam McCallum.
Gibson, Ben
Centre-back Gibson is another player who has received criticism occasionally, but he has started the first five games and may play a significant role this year.
At Carrow Road, there aren’t many options for the centre of the defence, therefore Gibson might find himself starting more often. Because his contract expires in 2024, he’ll be eager to demonstrate that he still possesses what it takes to be a starter.
Forshaw, Adam
Forshaw only agreed to a short-term contract when he joined Norwich this summer on a free transfer, but he might play a key role in the centre. He is a dynamic and focused midfielder with a wide variety of passing abilities. Once completely acclimated, he will be driven to make the starting XI.
