“However, to compete at the top end of the table in the Championship, where the games are played frequently, you need a large team.
“And the manager, [Enzo] Maresca, has stated he is very much part of the plans for this season, in an effort to regain their Premier League status at the first attempt.”
Choudhury has made three appearances in the Championship so far this year, each time as a substitute.
The 25-year-old is viewed by Maresca’s team as a secondary option as they attempt to compete for re-election to the Premier League at this time.
Choudhury is now behind players like Wilfred Ndidi, Harry Winks, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the pecking order.
Leicester has had a successful first five league games since moving up to the second tier, winning four of them.
With only one point separating them from league leaders Preston North End, the squad is presently third in the standings.
It is uncertain if Choudhury would agree to a new contract to stay with the Foxes after this season.
