everton player was arrested today for sex abuse

The 21-year-old Everton star has since shared “the message” that Sean Dyche gave him during preseason.

Jarrad Branthwaite, a defender for Everton, has revealed the preseason directives that Sean Dyche gave him.

Jarrad Branthwaite, the centre defender for Everton, intends to have a breakthrough campaign this time around. With his inclusion in the Toffees’ starting lineup against Wolves and subsequent retention of his spot for the match against Sheffield United, the 21-year-old has had a strong start in this area.

When Everton welcomes Arsenal to Goodison Park this afternoon, Sean Dyche is expected to choose Branthwaite once more.

The young player had a fantastic loan season with PSV Eindhoven last year. He managed to make 27 Eredivisie appearances, accumulating crucial experience that he would need to call on throughout this season on Merseyside.

He also had a prosperous summer because he was a member of the England team that won the under-21 European Championships.

Responding to Dyche’s challenge, Branthwaite
He came to Everton this summer well-positioned to compete with players like Michael Keane and James Tarkowski for a starting position after making an impression in the Netherlands.

Branthwaite recently disclosed what Dyche had said to him during preseason. The Liverpool Echo quotes a man as saying, “When I came back, the message was to come into pre-season and show the quality I had and fight my way into the team.”

“I had to exercise patience in the beginning of the season because I wasn’t playing, but now that I’m on the squad, I have to keep working hard, keep showcasing my talent, and hopefully solidify my place on the team…To convince the management that you are qualified to work there, you must hold yourself to a high standard during training.

Branthwaite has so far demonstrated the potential to establish himself as a major player at Goodison Park. Given Keane’s poor performance, has now an opportunity to secure a spot in the starting XI for the long term.

Everton may find it difficult to keep the young player at the organisation, though. According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United thought about signing the player during the most recent summer transfer window. In the near future, the Toffees might have to turn down serious offers for Branthwaite.
