Tottenham player who was injured may  get his surgery immediately,

After Tottenham missed out, PEP Guardiola praises the £55 million star.

After Tottenham Hotspur failed to sign winger Jeremy Doku, Pep Guardiola has moved to compliment him.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, was blown away by Jeremy Doku’s performance against West Ham United on Saturday.

Following a 3-1 victory for City in East London, Guardiola lauded Doku in an interview with BBC Sport.

When James Ward-Prowse gave West Ham the lead in the first half, Guardiola might have anticipated the worse.

After the break, though, City took control with goals from Doku, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland.

With Guardiola ushering in a new era at the Etihad Stadium, few would bet on City winning another Premier League championship this season.

Guardiola praises Jeremy Doku
Along with other summer additions like Josko Gvardiol and Matheus Nunes, Doku is a part of the new era.

Established players like Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan, and Aymeric Laporte all left City this summer in favour of younger, potentially talented youngsters.

Doku provides a completely unique skill set to the City team, displaying incredible speed and dribbling prowess when charging directly at the defence.

Doku scored against West Ham in this manner, driving against Vladimir Coufal before slipping inside and burying the ball.

Doku displayed his finest abilities in this situation, and Guardiola was impressed with what he witnessed from the Belgian international.

Doku was’shy’ in his first City start, in Guardiola’s opinion, but ‘unbelievable’ against West Ham.

Doku put up a “very good performance” in East London, according to Guardiola, acting like a “proper winger.”

It was a great game, in my opinion. “I would say that the first game he was shy and today he was not,” stated Guardiola. He could go 1v1 and was a proper winger with the ball. Not only that, but he also has the ability to predict when to pass to the following player. I was delighted; Jeremy gave a terrific performance, he continued.

Doku’s acquisition will make City very happy, especially in view of the intense competition in the Premier League this summer.

Tottenham allegedly entered the competition to sign Doku in August, according to The Independent.

Doku was sought after by West Ham as well, but Spurs joined the chase to get him away from Rennes.

City ultimately prevailed in the competition in a deal estimated to be worth £55 million, allowing Spurs to concentrate solely on Brennan Johnson, who they eventually signed.

City will be thrilled that Doku chose Manchester over North London for his current location.

Gary Neville observes that Everton were aggressive towards the £195,000-per-week Arsenal player.
