Everton key player sustained injury that may lead to surgery while

An injury expert discusses whether Dele Alli will play against Liverpool against Everton after groyne surgery.
After having groyne surgery, Everton attacker Dele Alli is expected to miss the match against Liverpool and will also miss the match against Arsenal, according to Ben Dinnery.

The injury expert has suggested a potential return date of October 21 and claims that he will be sidelined for more than a month.

The England international is anticipated to be eligible for selection when the Toffees go to Anfield.

“Bamidele Alli – Groyne Surgery #EFC Expected Return: 21-10-2023,” Dinnery said on Twitter. Status: Disqualified.

Derby comeback?

Given how difficult it has been for Alli, to say that the past few years have been interesting would be a grave understatement.

In an effort to regain his place on the squad, he has spoken out about his injuries, childhood trauma, and mental health problems.

The Toffees would not have wanted his loan stint last season to not have gone as well as many had anticipated.

But there’s every chance that this could be the English attacker’s comeback season if Sean Dyche is pleased with what he’s seeing from him in practise.

It all comes down to utilising Alli’s devastating potential, which he has previously demonstrated, in order to bring out the best in him.

If used effectively this season, the former Tottenham Hotspur attacker, who can play multiple attacking positions, could be a valuable asset.

In other Everton news, a TNT Sports pundit tore into a veteran Toffees player for what he did against Sheffield United.
