finally, Wolves could be handed the chance to sign reported transfer target

£35 million Newcastle target in “advanced talks” while Wolves invests £9 million in a defender.
Newcastle United, Arsenal, and Wolves are all included in the most recent Premier League transfer news.

Another Friday means that the latest round of Premier League trade rumours is in the books. The talk moves at a dizzying pace even without the promise of a window in the distance, and today is no different.

There have been rumours that a player desired by both Newcastle United and Tottenham is in “advanced” negotiations. There have also been claims that Arsenal is scouting a player that Chelsea had previously wanted, and Wolves may be in position for a bargain grab.

View everything below.

Radu Dragusin, who is reportedly a target for Newcastle United, is reportedly in “advanced talks” with clubs in the Premier League, according to the player’s agency. The Genoa defender, who is also rumoured to be drawing interest from Tottenham and Crystal Palace, is valued at roughly £35 million by his current employers, but if this most recent update is to be believed, he might be on his way to England.

His representative, Florin Manea, revealed in a statement to Eurosport that “there are already advanced conversations with many Premier League clubs. Between 35 and 40 million euros are what Genoa is seeking. In the winter, we’ll see what might occur. We might decide to transfer [in January] while still playing for Genoa through the summer. After 45 games in which he started the previous season, Radu must now play every game in Genoa’s Serie A.

The 3AM Verdict: Of the teams that have been connected to Dragusin, Newcastle seems like the most likely choice. Not only do the Magpies have the resources to outbid their competitors if they so choose, but it came as a genuine surprise that they did not put more effort into bolstering their defence during the just concluded summer transfer window. Perhaps one to keep an eye on.

Arsenal monitors Nusa Premier League champion contenders According to reports, Arsenal will send scouts to Belgium to observe Club Brugge forward Antonio Nusa in action against Besiktas in the Europa Conference League on Thursday. The Express reports that Arsenal personnel will be present to witness the 18-year-old, who has already contributed to five goals in 11 games across all competitions this season.

In August, Chelsea allegedly made a £23 million bid for Nusa, who is already a senior member of the Norwegian national team.

The 3AM Conclusion: Nusa seems like a viable option. He has a bright future ahead of him given his age and the quality he is already demonstrating, and if he keeps heading in the same direction, he will only become more in-demand — and more expensive — in the years to come. In light of this, Arsenal would not only be securing a tremendous talent but also potentially saving themselves a sizable sum of money if they were to sign him right now.

exposed by the Elvedi release clause
And finally, according to the German publication Bild, Wolves may be given the opportunity to sign rumoured transfer target Nico Elvedi for a discount price of roughly £8.7 million. Borussia Monchengladbach just missed joining Wanderers over the summer, but Gary O’Neil’s team decided to back out owing to financial difficulties.

Elvedi has since signed a new contract with his current employers, and it is believed that this new agreement now includes a reasonably priced release clause. It is believed that Monchengladbach is still eager to sell the Swiss centre defender, but because they didn’t want to lose him for nothing the next season, they decided to lock him up for their own financial stability.

The 3AM Verdict: This appears to be good news for the Wolves. Elvedi is still obviously available for a transfer despite his new deal, and at the very least, they now know how much they will have to offer to wrest him away from his current employers. There is undoubtedly a deal here that can be reached, whether it is in January or next summer, assuming Wanderers still want it.
