agreement confirmed : finally Tottenham “have re-sign longtime player

Tottenham would “have the ability” to re-sign Harry Kane, according to Daniel Levy.

In the midst of uncertainty around a repurchase clause, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has reaffirmed that his team would have the “ability” to re-sign Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.
Even though the striker was in the penultimate year of his deal with North London, the ENIC president remained steadfast in his belief that Kane was not for sale for the whole of the summer transfer season.

Levy rejected many offers from Bayern in the hopes that Kane would sign a new contract if Spurs made quick strides under Ange Postecoglou.

Levy reluctantly agreed to sell Spurs’ all-time greatest scorer to Bayern in a deal worth up to £100 million after learning that the 30-year-old would not sign a contract.

Levy confirmed that Spurs have a buyback option for Kane as part of their agreement with Bayern during a supporters’ forum earlier this week when he was responding to inquiries from the Tottenham faithful.

According to later reports, the condition is actually a way to offer Tottenham first refusal in the event Harry Kane decides to leave the Allianz Arena rather than a simple buyback option.

Kane’s relationship with Levy is also said to have soured as a result of the prolonged summer controversy, so the forward is unlikely to consider returning to North London as long as the 61-year-old is in charge.

Levy has nonetheless reiterated that the Lilywhites would be able to bring Kane back to the English capital, though he has not to discuss the specifics of their agreement with Bayern.

In an interview, the chairman of Spurs stated, “If I’m being honest, I think you know, the actual precise detail of the contract with Bayern Munich should remain confidential.”

Bloomberg is used.

“All I would say is that we would have the ability to purchase Harry if he one day wants to come back to the Premier League and he wants to come to Tottenham.”

Kane decided to prefer winning team trophies with Bayern, for whom he has already scored five goals in six games, above pursuing the all-time Premier League goalscoring record.

The 213 Premier League goals the England captain left his country with—behind Alan Shearer’s total of 260—put him second in Premier League history, a record that Kane can yet challenge.

Levy flatly refused to sell to a Premier League competitor, despite the ex-Spurs player reportedly asking for a move to Manchester United in order to continue his efforts to unseat Shearer.

In this week’s opening round of Champions League matches, Kane reconnected with the Red Devils, scoring from the spot and assisting on a goal.

Leroy Sane in an incredible 4-3 victory.

Spurs have had their best start to a season in 58 years since Kane left, earning 13 points from their first five Premier League games.
