SAD NEWS: As Leeds United manager’s team surffers massive

Ex-Leeds United manager’s worst nightmare as team suffers a big record loss
In a crushing setback, a former Leeds United manager suffered a dreadful loss that saw his team suffer a record loss.

Paul Heckingbottom led Leeds for slightly under four months in the first half of 2018 before being fired and succeeded by Marcelo Bielsa in the summer. Heckingbottom eventually took over as manager of Sheffield United after Chris Wilder left and Slavisa Jokanovic’s brief tenure, after having previously managed Hibernian.

Heckingbottom led the Blades to promotion as Championship runners-up behind champions Burnley last season, but the Sheffield team suffered a record loss when Newcastle United romped to an 8-0 victory at Bramall Lane on Sunday in the Premier League.

The loss has left the Blades anchored to the bottom of the Premier League standings with only one point and a goal differential of minus 12 after six games played. Eight different Newcastle players recorded goals.

He needs to have more faith in his abilities. Whites Star Hitman Was A Former Leeds United Player

Ross McCormack, a former Leeds United striker, said that Daniel James needs to have a little more confidence in himself if he wants to regularly deliver for the Whites.

In Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Watford at Elland Road, Leeds’ Joel Piroe opened the scoring with a cross from the Welshman.

James has made 46 appearances for Leeds but has only scored four goals and provided eight assists, making him a disappointing player for Whites supporters.

James is well known for his potential and abilities, and McCormack acknowledged that he could achieve much more for Leeds than he has so far accomplished. Nevertheless, he can understand part of the fan reaction to James.

The former Leeds captain advises the winger to add more consistency to his potential and have a little more faith in his ability to challenge opposing defenders.

“You can understand some of the fans’ frustration because you know fine well what’s in him and what he can go and produce,” the Scot remarked on BBC Radio Leeds.
