This is Total Rejection 26-year-old player yesterday left without turning back

It was a little perplexing how Gary O’Neil handled the 26-year-old player yesterday.

Yesterday’s 1-1 draw between Wolves and Luton Town is clearly a letdown.

Against a squad that had dropped all of its previous games this year, Wanderers had a fantastic opportunity to move further away from the danger zone.

However, Wolves struggled at Kenilworth Road, maybe as was to be expected, and in the end, the Hatters were able to earn their first point of the year.

The game had a few significant talking points.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s absurd red card surely made life much more difficult for Wolves.

And in the second half, a contentious VAR decision went against Wolves after Pedro Neto had superbly given the visitors the lead against the flow of play.

In the end, Wolves had trouble scoring both before and after the red card.

One also questions why O’Neil did not introduce Sasa Kalajdzic.

Sasa Kalajdic’s absence from the starting line-up for Wolves against Luton seemed like an odd choice by O’Neil O’Neil choose to field an unchanged lineup against Luton.

He obviously believed that nothing needed to alter after the first-half display against Liverpool the previous Saturday.

Thus, Matheus Cunha was once more in charge of the queue.

And he merely had no effect on the game.

The Brazilian has been squandering opportunities lately, but yesterday he didn’t even have a shot.

Just having Kalajdzic enter felt like a game.

The 26-year-old hasn’t actually played since making a cameo appearance in the team’s loss to Crystal Palace just before the break for international play.

Being on the bench for the last several games shows that Kalajdzic’s fitness level is now sufficient. He might not be able to play entire games just yet, but he is unquestionably prepared to make his Premier League debut.

The club’s August Player of the Month might have been a particularly powerful outlet against Luton.

Early on, the wolves were boxed in; all they needed was a hit and for the ball to stick. Cunha, who frequently works back and comes deep to pick up the ball, doesn’t really give you that.

Some Wolves supporters have had a hard time comprehending the fact that he played no minutes at all yesterday.

After the red card, it made sense why O’Neil wanted the squad to defend and use the speed of Neto up top to attack on the break.

However, the balls to Neto were frequently subpar. He also appeared to be getting tired, which was not surprising.

In the dying minutes, Kalajdzic might have been able to offer a more goal threat. He could have at least kept the ball where it belonged for Wolves.
