After the passing of his son, a Hoops fan, Celtic father “struggles to go to matches.”
Since his son passed away at the age of 24, the grieving Celtic supporter remarked that supporting his side “is not the same anymore for me.”

A father who sadly lost his football-loving son at the age of 24 in a terrible vehicle accident has spoken of his difficulties in going to Celtic Park ever since the tragedy.

In 2010, Gerard McQinlay took part in the crash. He was not killed in the collision itself, but passed away in October 2015 from cardiomyopathy, a disorder in which the heart’s walls become stretched, stiffened, or rigid.

Since he was a little child, Gerard has supported the Glasgow Giants, and he frequently visits Celtic Park with his father. Gerard, a joiner, also enjoyed cars in addition to his love of the Hoops.

He was a big gentleman and liked the Celtic games, according to Priesthill resident Gerry, 59. Since he was a young lad, I have accompanied him to every game. Like me, he had a Celtic tattoo on his leg.

“I saw him develop from a young boy into a handsome young man. He loved playing football, and

His life revolved around vehicles. Because it was something Gerard and I did together, I used to be a huge fan, but I’m not as into it now. We were spending time together.

It was fantastic, he continued. People started crying when I played the video for everyone.

The 28-year-old Jodie claims it was her most “emotional” project to date. On TikTok, she documented the creation process.

“Once I did the reveal, it was quite emotional,” she continued. He was ecstatic and loved it. Giving it to him was nice since he may now keep it and it will serve as a reminder of his past.
