GOOD NEWS: As huddersfield Giants confirmed the

The Giants have officially acquired Adam Swift.

Adam Swift, a winger for Hull FC, has been signed by the Huddersfield Giants on a three-year contract. Swift was one of 11 players that left the Black and Whites this season, according to Hull Live, who broke the story back in June.

Prior to the 2020 season, the winger transferred from his childhood club St Helens to Hull FC. In 64 games for the Black and Whites, he scored 47 tries; 22 of those came this year, which is the joint-best return of his career.

Prior to joining Hull, Swift played for the Saints for seven years. He has completed 130 attempts in all, but it goes beyond try totals. He has also been Hull’s greatest backfield player, gaining more than 2,800 yards in Super League this year while maintaining a strong defensive performance with accurate reads and lofty kick takes.

Lewis Martin sets a lofty goal for Hull FC while reflecting on his try-scoring debut.

He is a player that is 100% committed and constantly gives his all for the team, according to Ian Watson, who is a big fan of those qualities. People enjoy playing with him because of his dedication to his craft.

“I believe he will be a crucial addition for us, and one quality that Adam possesses that you cannot teach is pure pace. Undoubtedly, we need more of it in this field, and Adam is widely renowned for having that trait.

“His edge defence is very good, his scramble defence is excellent, and obviously attacking wise his try-scoring record speaks for itself, so with everything that he can offer we cannot wait to have him involved in the squad.”

Andre Savelio, formerly of Hull, has been acquired by Huddersfield. The back-rower will play with Swift in West Yorkshire next season after Swift won the Hull FC Player of the Year award last week.
