Another injury blow for a Leeds United player

Boss unsurprised when another injury strikes a Leeds United player, and an attacker is also omitted
A player for Leeds United has recently experienced an injury setback, while a Whites attacker has also gone unnoticed.

Max Wober and Robin Koch have each started every game for Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach since leaving Leeds, which has six players out on loan at clubs in Europe. In Saturday’s Bundesliga match at Wolfsburg, where Eintracht Frankfurt lost 2-0 and dropped to eighth place in the standings, Koch once again started at centre back for his team.

Wober also started for Monchengladbach in a league game against Bochum. Wober’s team won 3-2, and the departing Leeds center-back played the entire game as his team moved up to 13th.

At Union Berlin, Brenden Aaronson has struggled to earn starts, and the midfielder was not utilised as a replacement in Saturday’s 1-0 loss at Heidenheim. Since joining the 11th-placed Union on loan, Aaronson has made three starts and three sub appearances.

The only player from United out on loan in Spain is Marc Roca, who is playing for Real Betis, who will meet Valencia on Sunday night in La Liga. After starting the first seven games for his new team this season, Roca was benched for Thursday night’s 1-1 draw at Granada. He subsequently entered the game in the 81st minute.

Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen are both on loan at the Serie A team Roma, but Llorente suffered an injury setback in Thursday night’s 4-1 loss at Genoa, where he was substituted midway through the first half while Kristensen played the entire game.

Due to what is being characterised as a right hip flexor injury, Llorente will allegedly be out for the next two weeks. Jose Mourinho, the manager of Roma, was cited as saying, “Diego has a history of fitness issues – he often suffers from muscle injuries,” by AS Roma’s official website. Since he’s played three straight games, I’m not too surprised.

The next game for Roma is on Sunday night against Frosinone at home. This season, Llorente has started every game for Roma while Kristensen has started five games.
