Apology message to West Brom after what

Karlan Grant responds to West Brom’s 4-0 victory over Preston.
In celebration of West Brom’s 4-0 victory over Preston on Saturday in the Championship, Matt Phillips posted on Instagram.

At Deepdale, Phillips, 32, scored the third goal for the Albion, his 30th since joining from Queens Park Rangers in 2016.

On September 30, Phillips posted a photo of himself celebrating in sodden Lancashire to Instagram with the caption: “+3 and a goal! “Well done, team!”
While Karlan Grant, who is now on loan at Cardiff City, answered to Phillips’ message with two heart emojis, the Baggies’ longest-tenured player received messages from Grady Diangana and Darnell Furlong, both of whom scored goals in the thrashing.

Incredible

This season, Phillips has been in excellent form.

There is no denying that he has been one of  greatest players in the early stages of the 2023/24 Championship season, despite the fact that he has a reputation among Albion supporters for being made of glass and failing to step up when it matters.

Phillips, a 16-time Scotland international, has been required to play several positions for Corberan, including both wings, wingback, and even striker.

Phillips has scored two goals and provided one assist in nine Championship games this season, with his Preston performance possibly being his best.

Given that Preston had gone undefeated before to hosting the Baggies at Deepdale, it was likely West Brom’s greatest performance of the year as well.

The Hawthorns will host a game between Corberan’s team and struggling Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night (3 October).

in time for that one.

Another West Brom story involves a player who disagrees with Corberan’s remarks.
