Exciting one for Brighton: We are happy to have him back

‘Exciting news’ for Brighton as player trains with first team – Injury return ‘coming closer’

According to Meczyki, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jakub Moder is getting closer to returning to the pitch after a lengthy absence.pl.

The midfielder’s last appearance came against Norwich City in April 2022, when he suffered a catastrophic knee injury that required surgery. He experienced problems throughout his rehabilitation, necessitating a second procedure.

Moder had been working on his own, and it’s been revealed that the 24-year-old’s situation has improved, which is good news for both Roberto De Zerbi and the Seagulls.
According to Meczyki.pl, the 24-year-old is now ‘training at full speed’ with the first squad, which is ‘excellent news’ for Brighton, given that the Poland international’s return now looks’more probable’ following prior setbacks.

The site claims Moder’s return is “getting closer,” but does not specify when he would be ready.

Brighton have a busy calendar following this month’s international break, and Moder’s recuperation will no doubt excite them, but they’ll know they need to take things cautiously.

The club is eager to break the record by selling the Brighton target – Seagulls would have to spend a lot of money.

Last week, the Brazilian press mentioned Brighton & Hove Albion’s interest in So Paulo defender Lucas Beraldo.

The Seagulls reportedly tried to sign him in the “last few months,” and the Tricolour are expecting offers for him in the January transfer window.

As So Paulo just awarded Beraldo a new deal, there’s more bad news for Brighton in that hunt, as Trivela offers an article with the latest on him.

According to Trivela, the defender’s new contract includes a €60 million release clause, indicating how highly the club rates him. It’s also said that So Paulo’s intention is to make Beraldo the most expensive centre-back in Brazilian football history. Trivela calculated the inflation since all those big transfers, and discovered that the biggest sale was Edmilson, who left for Lyon for something like €21 million.
