Don’t Have Any Doubt – Leicester City Manager Is Confident Foxes Star Will Return To Top Level
Because of his talent, Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca believes Harry Winks can return to the top of the game.
Winks eventually left Tottenham Hotspur in the summer to join Leicester on a permanent basis, and he has been a key member in a club that has dominated the Championship.
When he was younger, the midfielder was regarded a strong young prospect at Tottenham, and he broke into the team under former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.
He was expected to play at the very top of the game, but his progress stalled, and he spent last season on loan with Sampdoria in Italy.
Maresca, on the other hand, is confident that Winks will return to the top of the game.
Leicester manager believes he has been outstanding since joining the club and is destined to return to the top flight.
“I have no doubt, Harry Winks could be a good player for an international team,” Maresca told talkSPORT.
“He’s a huge help to us, and he works really hard.”
“He has the level to be at the top.”
Winks will be hoping to assist Leicester regain their Premier League status and then excel in the top tier next season.
