Huge blow: As a key player surfers severe injury

Before the Ohio State-Maryland football game, Marvin Harrison Jr. reveals the severity of his ankle injury.

Ohio State football has the benefit of having possibly the best wide receiver in NCAA football in Marvin Harrison Jr, but he just injured his ankle. The Buckeyes played a big road game against Notre Dame and came out on top, but Harrison Jr paid the price. He’s been suffering with the injury ever since, and he’s still dealing with it as Ohio State’s next football game against Maryland approaches.

Fortunately for the Buckeyes, the injury isn’t too significant, as it’s only a sprain, and it hasn’t kept Marvin Harrison Jr off the practise pitch. It also won’t keep him off the pitch this week, as he plans to play through the injury against the Terrapins.

“It’s good enough,” Harrison Jr commented, according to a USA Today report. “I would say it’s worse than the one last year, but still, I’m good enough to play.”

If Harrison Jr. is forced to sit out, it will be a significant setback for the Buckeyes. Even when he isn’t at his best, he remains one of the top players in college football. Head coach Ryan Day is aware of this, and he is pleased with Harrison Jr’s current performance.

“It looks good,” Ryan Day commented. “He’s had a really good week of practise and looks ready to roll.”

That’s fantastic news for the Ohio State football team. They have a difficult matchup this week against a Maryland football club that is surprisingly 5-0, and the game would be even more difficult if the Buckeyes were missing their star receiver.
