Boettger, 6-6, 313 pounds, has spent time on the active roster and practise squad for Indianapolis this season after being named to the team’s practise squad on September 12, 2023. He has played in 36 games (17 starts) for the Indianapolis Colts (2023), Buffalo Bills (2018-23) and Kansas City Chiefs (2018). Boettger has also started three playoff games. On May 11, 2018, the Bills signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa. BUTT-gur is the pronunciation of his surname.

Indianapolis-The Indianapolis Colts signed centre Jack Anderson from the practise squad to the 53-man roster today and released guard Ike Boettger.
On September 12, 2023, Anderson, 6-4, 314 pounds, was signed to the team’s practise squad. He took part in the offseason programme and training camp for the New York Giants in 2023. Anderson has appeared in 14 games (three starts) for the Colts (2023), Giants (2022-23), Philadelphia Eagles (2021-22), and Buffalo Bills (2021). The Bills drafted him in the seventh round (236th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draught out of Texas Tech.
