Clear and shocking: Carlton has revealed a statement just now

Elijah Hollands makes a club statement
A statement is issued by the Club.

THE CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB is aware that Elijah Hollands has been presented with a summons to appear in court for illegal drug possession.

Hollands, who was playing for the Gold Coast Suns at the time, told the team last month of his interest in joining the team.

Following that, an educated decision was reached to proceed with the recruiting, and the Club will now give Hollands with the required support.

He will commence pre-season training upon its scheduled resumption in November.

As the matter is currently before the courts, the Club will make no further comment at this time.

“He may well listen to offers,” Carlton Palmer says of the newest Sheffield Wednesday takeover speculation.

Wednesday supporters are putting increased pressure on Dejphon Chansiri.

Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri is under increasing pressure from fans as a result of bad performances, excessive ticket costs, and mismanagement.
Prospective purchasers have expressed interest in the club, however a sale may take some time given to the team’s current status and the need for major investment.
Former Wednesday player Carlton Palmer says it is time for Chansiri to seek fresh investment and listen to offers, but fans should do so gently and without threatening Chansiri’s family.

The atmosphere around Hillsborough has been far from what any Wednesdayite would have expected after celebrating promotion in May, but the worst possible pre-season, rising tensions off the pitch, and a sluggish start to the Championship season have left Hillsborough feeling pretty toxic at the moment.

The Owls have had three managers since their play-off final victory on May 29th. Darren Moore was abruptly fired in June, and his replacement, Xisco Munoz, was only hired with only a month to go before the season opener against Southampton.

Despite making twelve signings during the summer transfer window, it always appeared like Wednesday weren’t prepared for what was to come, and this was mirrored on the pitch, with the Spaniard issued his P45 following a 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion on October 3rd.
