We are happy for his Arrival :sooners former star has finally returned to the club

Former Oklahoma high school standout offered by Sooners

Players who have accessed the transfer portal are receiving offers from the Oklahoma Sooners without delay. The Sooners hope to fill some holes once more after doing an excellent job in the portal the previous season.

There won’t be as large of a portal class as there was last season, but the team will have some new players. Chris McClellan, a former standout student in Oklahoma high school, might be one of them. In the 2022 class, McClellan was a 4-Star and a top 100 prospect.

He considered signing with the Sooners but after a coaching change, he ultimately decided to head to the Florida Gators. After two seasons with the Gators, he announced he would be entering the transfer portal.

It didn’t take long for the Sooners to jump on that and send McClellan an offer.

McClellan is a powerful 320-pound defensive tackle who stands 6-foot-3. In addition to his more experience, he offers the larger build necessary to play in the SEC. He has already participated in SEC play. He recorded 46 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks during his time at Florida.

Because of his athleticism, he was able to play a lot of defensive end and defensive tackle. Although McClellan’s visit to Norman is unknown, Sooner supporters should absolutely be monitoring this development.
