Sad News: jazz star set for long term injury and might not return

Talen Horton-Tucker of the Jazz: added to the injury report

Due to a non-COVID ailment, Horton-Tucker is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Kings, according to Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Horton-Tucker joins John Collins, Luka Samanic, and Omer Yurtseven—all of whom have been declared out—as the fourth Jazz player with an illness listed on the injury report. Given Utah’s extensive injury list, Horton-Tucker, if healthy, should be prepared for a demanding workload. But, if he sits, Simone Fontecchio, Ochai Agbaji, and Kris Dunn should be able to handle additional minutes.

Talen Horton-Tucker of Jazz: Not present during the warm-up

Horton-Tucker (illness) didn’t participate in shootaround ahead of Saturday’s game versus Sacramento, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Horton-Tucker is officially listed as questionable for Saturday’s game due to a non-COVID illness. However, his absence from shootaround is a bad sign of his availability against Sacramento.
