I will not play Again: I am leaving due to my condition

Injury update: Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III (shoulder) is expected to play Sunday against the Titans.

Despite a shoulder injury, Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is expected to play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Walker looked like his old self in his second game back from an oblique injury that sidelined him for Weeks 12 and 13, collecting 112 yards and a touchdown on 22 touches in Seattle’s stunning comeback victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday.

However, he appeared on the injury report shortly afterward with a new ailment, this time a shoulder problem, and did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday.

The second-year back did participate in limited fashion on Friday, but he is healthy enough to help the eighth-seeded Seahawks push for an NFC playoff berth.

Walker has 720 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground in 2023, with an additional 232 yards and a touchdown on 24 catches.

With RB1 ready to go, the Seahawks should be able to attack the Titans’ 17th-ranked rushing defense in a variety of ways thanks to the burgeoning backfield duo of Walker and Zach Charbonnet.

They will be joined by quarterback Geno Smith, who is set to return from a two-game absence. He practiced extensively all week and received no designation on Friday for the groin injury that had previously kept him out.
