Injury report: Alabama Crimson Tide’s most important player will be out for the whole season.

Initial injury report before of Texas A&M vs. Alabama.
Texas A&M (4-1, 2-0 SEC) will face the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide (4-1, 2-0 SEC) in Week 6, the biggest matchup in college football, as both teams are vying for SEC West supremacy, especially after LSU lost its second game of the season to Ole Miss on Saturday night.

After defeating Arkansas 34-22, second-year defensive coordinator D.J Durkin is on a mission to orchestrate an impressive turnaround for an Aggie defence that has dominated the trenches, recording 14 sacks and 30 tackles for loss in their last two games while limiting the Razorbacks to 174 total yards on the afternoon.

Head coach Jimbo Fisher is using his normal “nameless, faceless” approach to play Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide, but seems as confident as ever heading into Saturday’s mid-afternoon game. Fisher addressed to the media on Monday, previewing the team’s preparation for the Tide and delivering various updates on the Aggies’ current injury report.
So far, so good, as sophomore wide receiver Evan Stewart was the lone Aggie starter who suffered a minor ankle injury against Arkansas, although he did sit out for the majority of the second half after taking a vicious hit out of bounds following an incredible toe-tapping grab on a third-down convert. As of today, Fisher said Stewart “should be good to go” against

Alabama.
While the return of safety Jardin Gilbert remains uncertain while he recovers, the same can be said about offensive tackle Reuben Fatheree II, who is reportedly currently rehabilitating with no set return date.

Alabama linebacker Deontae Lawson is doubtful with an ankle injury, while wide receiver Emmanuel Henderson Jr. will miss the game with a hip injury.

Texas A&M will meet No. 10 Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m. CT at Kyle Field (TV: CBS).
