He won’t play again: Alabama Favourite Player of all time is going for surgery and will not return due to

Nick Saban provides an injury update on Robinson. Robinson departed the game in the fourth quarter, but Prentice did not participate.

One of the most common concerns when playing late-season games against teams like Chattanooga is incurring injuries, and Alabama nearly went the whole game without one.

With less than 12 minutes remaining in the game, linebacker Quandarrius Robinson suffered an injury and was immediately taken to the injury tent. He walked there on his own strength and appeared to favour his right arm. He didn’t return to the game.

“Que [Robinson] is fine, he just had a stinger,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban stated.

Furthermore, Alabama’s third-leading pass catcher, wide receiver Kobe Prentice, had no appearances throughout the game.

Kobe Prentice hurt his hamstring in practice this week, and possibly could have played in the game’, Saban said in a statement. “You always risk re-injury in those things, so hopefully in the next few days he gets his strength back up to where that’s not a risk.”

Alabama was also without two defensive starters, Jaylen Key and Deontae Lawson, who had been sidelined for successive weeks.

The Crimson Tide hopes to bring its injured players back to full health this week ahead of a crucial two-game stretch against Auburn and Georgia to finish the season.
