The 31-year-old veteran had a great year in 2023, running for 1,012 yards (10th-most) on 209 carries while also scoring 18 touchdowns (league-high). Mostert also scored twice or more in six different games and set personal records for carries, running yards, rushing touchdowns, and receiving touchdowns.

The Dolphins are honoring Mostert’s strong performances with a two-year agreement that will keep him in Miami through at least the 2025 season. Even at his advanced age, Mostert shows no signs of slowing down, having received very few carries to begin his NFL career. Mostert has only 674 career carries across seven NFL seasons.

With Mostert poised to return with fellow speedster DeVon Achane, the Dolphins’ backfield is looking very promising for next season.
