I Will Not Play Again I Am Leaving JackJumpers For Good………

Fan-favourite Josh Magette departs Tasmania JackJumpers

The Tasmania JackJumpers have stated that Vice Captain Josh Magette, who was born in America, will be leaving the team.

Josh was a key member of the Tasmanian basketball team, serving as one of the JJ’s founding players and helping them to the grand final in their debut season (2021-22).

A broken cheekbone and fractured eye socket ended his 2022-23 campaign early, just before the finals.

In a statement, the JackJumpers thanked Josh for his contributions to the club.

“Josh, Christina, Joey and Hays will always hold a special place in the heart of the Tasmania JackJumpers and we wish them all the best,” a spokesperson said.

According to sources, the JackJumpers have reached an agreement with American Jordan Crawford, who will join the squad as a backcourt ally for marquee player Milton Doyle.

Crawford, 32, led the Turkish Basketball Super League in scoring last season while playing for Buyukcekmece.

Crawford, who stands 168cm tall, has played for several European teams in recent years and will provide significant experience to the Jackies following Josh Magette’s departure.
