Three stars could be back in the park sooner than imagined.

 

The Brisbane Broncos are expected to be helped by the return of Payne Haas, Adam Reynolds, and Brendan Piakura next weekend for a meeting with the Wests Tigers.

Coach Kevin Walters has been dealing with an injury crisis in recent weeks, with a number of important players being sidelined, but News Corp is now reporting that all three will return simultaneously.

The trio’s comeback against the Tigers next week will be followed by Deine Mariner’s return against the Canberra Raiders in Round 7 on Saturday evening, with the outside back returning ahead of schedule.

Mariner last played in Round 5 against the Melbourne Storm.

Reynolds, who also missed a Round 3 game, did not play the second half against the Storm due to a knee ailment.

His return date was unknown, but Round 8 is a favorable outcome for the Broncos if he is able to play next weekend against the joint venture.

It implies that Jock Madden will most likely return to reserve grade.

Meanwhile, Piakura last played in Round 3, but was injured during a loss to the Penrith Panthers. His return date was planned for four to six weeks, and playing against the Tigers would be a significant step forward in his recovery.Mariner last played in Round 5 against the Melbourne Storm.

Brisbane has been short on edge forwards since his injury; however, Jaiyden Hunt, who joined Brisbane from the St George Illawarra Dragons during the off-season, has performed admirably for the Red Hill-based club.

Haas, meanwhile, has been rehabilitating from an injury, with the team indicating that he could be held out for another week but confirming his return is imminent.
