Washington commanders made the worst decision by allowing him to depart.

Adam Schefter claims Jayden Daniels is unhappy with the Washington Commanders Meeting.
The Washington Commanders will almost definitely use the second overall pick in the NFL Draft next Thursday night to select a quarterback. However, it looks that one of the draft’s best quarterbacks, LSU’s Jayden Daniels, may have soured on the team.
The Commanders opted to meet with three of the top quarterback prospects, UNC’s Drake Maye, Michigan’s JJ McCarthy, and Daniels, at the same time this week. On the surface, this does not appear to make sense. And it appears to have backfired on the team.

Jayden Daniels has 'wondered' about NFL Draft options amid frustration

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter said that Jayden Daniels was dissatisfied with the unusual meeting setup in Washington.

Adam Peters, the new general manager, had the notion to accomplish this. According to CBS Sports, Peters had experience with similar visit structures in San Francisco. And, on some level, it makes sense to bring in large numbers of players all at once to observe how they interact with one another.
However, implementing it for quarterbacks appears to be a horrible idea, in my opinion. First and foremost, a quarterback selected second overall deserves to be scrutinized and given special attention. You’re staking the entire franchise on this player; he’s not simply another draft pick.

Even if they did this in 2021 with the third-overall pick and selected quarterback Trey Lance, it does not imply that it was best practice. Trey Lance definitely didn’t work out in San Francisco and is now with the Dallas Cowboys.

They’re probably going to take the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner regardless. However, it appears that things are not going well between the Washington Commanders and Jayden Daniels.
