Good News: After 4 years of leaving Yankees superstar finally returned today…….

Yankees superstar set to return after spring training injury scare. Fans in New York should be excited about this news.

New York Yankees fans can exhale a sigh of relief.

Opening Day is just around the corner, but the Yankees are already battered and coping with a number of injuries. For at least one or two months, New York will be without Gerrit Cole, the 2023 American League Cy Young Award winner.

Cole isn’t the only big Yankees player out with an injury. There was concern that 2022 American League Most Valuable Player Aaron Judge may miss some time, but he is expected to return to the Yankees’ lineup on Tuesday, according to MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch.

Judge has been suffering with an abdominal ailment and did not return to the pitch as soon as some expected. There was even conjecture that Opening Day would be postponed, but that does not appear to be the case.

Last season, New York battled with a wide range of injuries, which contributed significantly to the club’s underperformance. The Yankees are regarded as one of the best teams in the American League, but losing Cole would undoubtedly hurt.

If the Yankees miss Judge for any length of time, that could be disastrous for New York. DJ LeMahieu, the team’s super utility guy, is currently suffering with his own ailment.

Judge’s return to the lineup on Tuesday is obviously a positive omen for New York. Hopefully, he can stay healthy and be fully prepared for Opening Day.
