SHOCKING NEWS: All supporters, including the steleers coach, are in a very significant astonishment because of his reappearance.

Steelers Add Another Lifelong Fan to NFL Draft
The Pittsburgh Steelers have managed to unearth a slew of draft picks who grew up cheering for them.

Pittsburgh — Logan Lee, a former Iowa defensive tackle, won’t have to change his wardrobe much after the Pittsburgh Steelers selected him in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he wouldn’t have it any differently. The former fan is now a member of his beloved team and considers himself fortunate to have been given this opportunity.

How NFL experts graded the Steelers' selection of Zach Frazier

“I grew up a huge Steelers fan my whole life,” Lee went on to say. “I am beyond blessed.”

Lee plays a rugged, steady type of football that he modeled after the 1970s Steel Curtain teams, specifically CB Mel Blount. Growing up in the heart of Bears country in Orion, Illinois, Lee had to be exposed to the Steelers by a friend and his father. He became addicted after seeing some vintage games.

“I started really getting into the thick of the historical NFL stuff,” Lee told ESPN. “I adored the Steel Curtain era stuff. I enjoyed watching Mel Blount slam people on their skulls and such. “I was a huge Steelers fan growing up.”

Lee is not the only Steelers fan who joined the team’s 2024 draft class this weekend. First-round choice Troy Fautanu grew up idolizing renowned safety Troy Polamalu and was an avid Steelers fan. Meanwhile, Zach Frazier, a second-round pick, grew up just over 90 minutes from the Steelers’ practice complex on the south side.

Who knows what kind of athletes any of these draft picks will become as their careers grow, but one thing is certain: the collective enthusiasm for Steelers football is alive and strong.
