Rafael Castro, a sophomore forward at Providence College, has joined the transfer portal.
He is the third friar to leave Kim English’s programme.

He averaged 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.

Castro averaged 65% from the pitch this season. He served primarily as Josh Oduro’s backup.

Garwey Dual has previously announced their departure. He went through the NCAA transfer portal last week.

Dual is one of Providence College’s highest-ranked recruits in programme history, ranking 47th overall in the 2023 class.

Donovan Santoro, a rookie who played limited minutes this season, also intends to leave.
