Wahoo Updates Elementary Computers with Ready to Ride Home Screen.
If you have a Wahoo Elemnt computer and want to refresh your home screen, prepare to download. Wahoo released an update for their Element series of bike computers. The upgrade, appropriately named ‘Ready to Ride,’ focuses on the user interface and home screen.
Since the release of the Wahoo Elemnt V2 computers, the company has updated the units to improve experience and functionality. Summit Freeride, Summit Segments, off-road route compatibility with Trailforks, and the ability to perform workouts outdoors with Wahoo SYSTM are among the most recent additions. Wahoo has updated the computer navigation to make it more user-friendly.
Wahoo Ready To Ride Update
The most recent version to the Wahoo Elemnt computers is dubbed Ready to Ride. The update includes a new menu screen for Elemnt bicycle computers. This update gives customers quick, easy access to frequently used pre-ride features such as the sensor menu, route loading, and battery status.
Why a new menu?
Wahoo is always collecting feedback from professional athletes and everyday consumers. The menu served as a unifying theme, emphasising faster access to important features. The updated user interface makes it simple to load a route, plan a training, and ensure that the appropriate sensors are paired.
Focus on Electronic Shifting.
Nothing is sadder (or more awkward) than showing up to or participating in a group ride only to run out of batteries. The Ready to Ride update now includes a data entry for the battery status of electronic shifting systems (Shimano Di2, SRAM eTAP). Users can display this data field on any exercise screen if they need to make route changes.
If the Elemnt or any linked sensor requires a charge after the ride, you will receive a concise ride summary page.
What Units Are Compatible with the Update?
The full Ready to Ride ELEMNT updates will be available for the Elemnt Roam V2 and Elemnt Bolt V2. Original Elemnt Bolt and Roam users will see a reorganised menu that maintains the same theme as the prior models.
