Former NHL referee Tim Peel says Edmonton Oilers players Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman are hurt.

Peel says he heard it someplace, but there have been no additional reports of injuries to these two players. The Vancouver Canucks have handled McDavid and Hyman admirably during their playoff series.

McDavid has one goal and five assists, but four of them came in game two of the series. The Canucks used J.T. Miller against McDavid, and he did remarkably well.

In the last three games, the Canucks have held Hyman scoreless. He hasn’t scored since his two goals in Game One. Hyman had 54 goals during the regular season and led the Stanley Cup Playoffs in goals with seven entering this series.
