Football: Anthony Williams, a 2025 three-star linebacker, has committed to TCU.
The Pearland Shadow Creek recruit had already committed to the Texas Longhorns.
TCU continues to add defensive talent to its 2025 recruiting class, with three-star Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek outside linebacker confirming his commitment to the Frogs on Friday night. Williams was previously committed to the Texas Longhorns but switched to the Frogs after reopening his recruitment last month. According to the 247Sports Composite, Williams is a top-100 talent in the state of Texas and the No. 56 linebacker in his class.

Williams, listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, is the 11th member of TCU’s 2025 Class, with six linebackers or defensive linemen. The Horned Frogs’ 2025 class is presently ranked 20th overall and second in the Big 12. Williams choose the Frogs over 21 other offers, including Auburn, Oregon, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.
In two varsity seasons with the Sharks, Williams has 56 tackles (12 for loss), one sack, one interception, and one fumble recovery, receiving District Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore.
