Good News: The Celtic Fc Are Bringing Him Back……..

Taylor promises Celtic success and expresses hope that a ‘vital’ player would return.

Greg Taylor, who has been a Celtic player for nearly five years and won nine medals in that time, understands that he and his teammates cannot afford to dwell on their achievements for too long.

Taylor, who helped the Premiership winners defeat their city rivals Rangers 1-0 in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup final at Hampden on Saturday to complete a double, thoroughly enjoyed the post-match festivities at Parkhead.

However, once he returns from the Euro 2024 finals in Germany, the Scotland left defender will put the historic success behind him and focus on helping Brendan Rodgers’ squad perform even better and achieve much more in the 2024/25 season.

He has already considered how Celtic might build on the improvements they have achieved during an eventful and often difficult season: recruit cup goal hero Adam Idah.

The defender was overjoyed when Norwich City loanee Idah scored the winner in the final minute of regulation time last weekend, and he hopes the Scottish champions can now sign the Republic of Ireland international permanently this summer.

He admitted to asking the £5 million-rated striker to return, and he feels the 6ft 3in 23-year-old is eager to do so.

“In football you can never stand still,” he stated. “We had a challenging opponent in the cup final, and I’m confident it will be the same next season. The goal is to strengthen again and attempt for further success next year.

“Adam has been crucial. He’s scored goals in crucial circumstances, which has propelled Kyogo (Furuhashi). I believe he has reached a new level since Adam arrived.

“But Adam has been fantastic, and his goals have been exceptional. So both of them have made significant contributions, and I am quite proud of them.

“Adam and Kyogo complement each other well; they are each excellent players in their own right. It’s not about going long for Adam; rather, his hold-up play is one of his strengths.

“When opponents go man-to-man and press you hard, as Kilmarnock did the other week, he adds another option and element to our game. He’s been terrific, making significant contributions in games, and I’m very proud of him.
