It’s a Huge setback: Celtic Star Sends Farewell Message To fans As he departs the team due to………..

The eight Celtic players who could make a ‘transfer escape’

According to reports, Celtic could lose up to eight players this summer.

Brendan Rodgers, the Northern Irish manager, is looking to upgrade his league and cup-winning squad for next season.

The Hoops had a decent season overall, although most fans would agree that it wasn’t really vintage Celtic for the most part.

As a result, some fringe players are expected to leave Parkhead during the preseason.

The Scottish Sun has named eight players who are expected to go, whether permanently or on loan.

Oh Hyeon-gyu is the headlining name at the forefront of the clearance sale.

Ange Postecoglou signed the South Korean striker for £2.5 million, but he has scarcely played for the club under Rodgers.

Was was missing from the Scottish Cup final-winning squad.

He signed a five-year contract upon his arrival in January 2023. So, while it is likely that his playing time will be limited next season, it appears that if any buyers are available, Oh will be on his way out of the club.

With Celtic also seeking to sign Adam Idah from Norwich City, they may need to free up space in the forward areas by moving Oh on.

Other players on the verge of leaving the squad include Gustaf Lagerbielke, Yuki Kobayashi, and Benji Siegrist.

The former’s loan to Italian club Lecce was banned during the January transfer window, much to the Swede’s dismay. However, the other two have made little appearances for the first team.

Sead Haksabanovic, who spent last season on loan at Stoke City, is also poised to go. Kwon Hyeok-kyu joined St Mirren in January, and another loan deal appears to be in the cards.

Alexandro Bernabei is on loan at Internacional until the winter window, and it appears that is where he will remain for the time being.

Talented youngster Bosun Lawal is being pursued by multiple teams both north and south of the border, therefore Celtic’s recruitment chiefs would be wise to extend his loan to continue his development.
