Good News: Guess Who The Edmonton Elks Are Bringing Back………

The Edmonton Elks have signed wide receiver Tevin Jones.

As the Edmonton Elks prepare to face the Montreal Alouettes in their second CFL game of the season, the team revealed Tuesday that it has signed a player who was released by the Quebec club earlier this year.

According to a news release, the Elks have acquired wide receiver Tevin Jones, who had 65 catches, 882 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in 17 games with the Saskatchewan Roughriders last season.

The 31-year-old American made his CFL debut with the Roughriders in 2022. Prior to that, he had spells with numerous NFL clubs, including five games with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019.

Edmonton will seek to rebound after dropping its home opener 29-21 to the Roughriders on Saturday.

The Alouettes won their first and only game of the season last Thursday, defeating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 27-12.

The game was a rematch of the 2023 Grey Cup game, which the Alouettes won.
