Mark Geyer has called out young players who want to quit their teams after a few losses, following claims that Wests Tigers stars Lachlan Galvin and Stefano Utoikamanu want to be released early.

The Tigers’ dismal defeat to the Dragons on Friday night was their ninth straight loss, leaving them at the bottom of the league and on pace for another wooden spoon.

Galvin, 18, reportedly told teammates he ‘can’t wait to get out’ of the club and was upset about being forced to play with a fractured hand.
